Pastor Travis Freeman

Hello, my name is Travis Freeman and I have the privilege of being the pastor of Jarnigan Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. 

We hope that this website is a blessing to you as a place you can visit to find recordings of services, songs from our youth choir, and events at our church.

At JCBC, our goal is to share the Gospel with a lost and dying world. We believe 2 Peter 2:9; that it is God’s “will that none perish, but that all should come to repentance.” The scripture teaches us that “God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” In a world where everyone is looking for something, we feel that the one 'something' that everyone needs is JESUS. 

We hold to the scriptures that are found in John 14. When Thomas questioned Jesus about where He was going and how they could know the way, Jesus answered: 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Jesus is still and will always be the only way to escape Hell and enter into eternal rest in Heaven. God loved us so much that he sent Jesus to be born in a manger, walk on Earth, and be crucified on a cross for all of our sins. "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Rom 6:23)

God has blessed me for over 10 years to pastor the wonderful people of JCBC. We have seen God move in a mighty way; changing the lives of sinners through salvation and growing them in the grace and knowledge of Christ. We would love to have you experience what God is doing in Clinton, TN. We want to extend a personal invitation to you to visit us during one of our Sunday or Wednesday services.
